Finds and Interests

In the vintage landscape, it’s easy to focus on the goods—the antique furniture, the memorabilia, the price trends, and so much more. We often forget the people behind the items we find and treasure. It’s the collectors, dealers, resellers, and vintage fans who keep this business alive, and meeting some of them is one of the best parts of my job.
Kathy Terrill is a dear friend. We’ve shared information and attended many of the same events, so I know that she is a dedicated professional. After pivoting from an acting career and working for QVC as an on-air presenter, she is now an eBay power seller, helping others reach their selling goals.
There are dozens of helpful videos on her YouTube channel, with her strategy tips and insider knowledge of all things eBay. When she left the stage, she immediately caught the attention of eBay management and was a frequent guest speaker at seller events held by eBay and on their original podcast, eBay Radio. Her tips and advice have helped many others get started in reselling and vintage, and her efforts have made a considerable difference for sellers just starting out.
WorthPoint makes it part of our mission to work with and network with real people in the vintage, collectible, and antique community. Every interaction I have at a flea market, a convention, or a vintage meet-up is an opportunity to learn something new and meet people who make this community so amazing. Check out this interview with Kathy and see how she’s navigated from performing and theater work to engaging with newbies and others looking to the reselling industry for their next challenge.
